1. The median sold home price in Fredericksburg City is $274,000.

In the surrounding counties of Spotsylvania and Stafford the prices are slightly higher at $299,000 and $334,500 respectively.

 

2. Downtown Fredericksburg is a great place for strolling and shopping!

Walk along the beautiful, historic streets of Fredericksburg (or for added charm, take a trolley tour!) to visit many historic sites in the area, including Kenmore Plantation, Chatham Manor, the Rising Sun Tavern and the Hugh Mercer Apothecary. The streets are lined with both antiques and modern boutiques. You can also enjoy a stroll along the Rappahannock River on the 3 mile Canal Path.
